Most commercial parking lots need 2.5 to 3 inches of asphalt over 6 to 8 inches of compacted aggregate base. Heavy-traffic areas like truck routes or loading docks may need 4+ inches. We design the pavement section based on your expected traffic.

A typical commercial parking lot takes 3 to 7 days depending on size and how much base work is needed. Paving itself is fast - it is the excavation, grading, and base prep that take the most time. We provide a detailed timeline before starting.
